Hello Reader, We have reached the last week of the 2025 Firefly Music Festival! There is still time to join us for our final concert on Saturday, June 28, at the Missouri Theatre. We also hope you will consider joining us for the Wrap Party directly following the concert at Vault in voco The Tiger Hotel. Let's celebrate the end of a wonderful summer festival together! Epic in scale, eternal in spirit...The program for the final concert of the Firefly Music Festival is phenomenal. You do not want to miss this! The C major symphony by Schubert is considered one of the greatest symphonies of all time. Paired with Martinez's inventive three movement suite of Overture in C major, this concert will be a truly magnificent musical experience.
Immediately following the concert, MOSY invites you to join the musicians for a wrap party to celebrate the culmination of another summer full of fantastic music. Light hors d'oeuvres will be provided and Vault will have delicious craft cocktails, wine, and beer available for purchase. Join us! Another opportunity to hear MOSY musicians will take place on Friday at The A-Frame on The Blufftop at Rocheport. A brass quintet featuring Alan Evans, Emily Rahn, Annelise Miner, Samual Chen, and Theo Learnard and a duet featuring Carlann Evans on violin and Emi Kagawa on piano (keyboard) will perform with the breathtaking backdrop of the Missouri River. See you there! MOSY hits the road for two additional concerts on July 1 and 5. The Missouri Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Lake on Tuesday, July 1 and in Moberly on July 5. Spread the word to anyone you know in those areas. Fondly, Trent |
